Soita is a Ugandan journalist, occasionally investigative, with seven years experience reporting on the financing of global anti-rights networks, environmental rights, and the extractives sector. Their work is increasingly focused on financial investigations across Africa.

From 2020 to 2025, they were East Africa Investigative Reporter at openDemocracy. Their reporting has also appeared in The Continent, The New Humanitarian, Tagesspiegel, and other publications.
