About Finance Uncovered

We seek to improve the quantity and quality of investigative stories that are rooted in illicit finance or exploitation – by training and then supporting journalists and activists, particularly in the developing and emerging world.

Our six-person organisation is based in Bethnal Green, close to Shoreditch and the City of London.

Last year we trained over 300 journalists and activists from all over the world and helped generate 30 stories. We work with independent investigative centres and organisations such as the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting project as well as mainstream media including the BBC, The Guardian and The Times.
